White Eve Moon (2026)
Materials & Techniques: Rift Sawn White Oak, White Eve Quartzite Stone, Glass.
White Eve Moon is a table design that marries 3cm thick White Eve quartzite with rift sawn white oak and glass. The quartzite stone floor features gorgeous veining of multiple colors against a whitish-cream background. It is reminiscent of the stripes on Jupiter or Saturn with the color and texture variation of the moon.
I initially intended for the legs to have a standard groove or reveal typical of mid-century modern design, but decided to vary the depth of it and flank it with a 45 degree slope on the adjacent faces. The end result is a small detail adding visual interest with both complexity and elegance. The legs are notched around the stone and also notched at the top to hold the glass.
The White Eve Moon coffee table represents the finest craftsmanship, heirloom quality, and forward thinking design of custom tables made in Oklahoma City. No paint, stain, or dye was used in the creation of this piece. A clear coat finish was applied to preserve the natural wood tones and textures.
Dimensions: 36” diameter (excluding leg protrusions), 16.5” tall. (Legs protrude 2” past glass)
