Trade Wind is a lamp design and study in acute angles evoking a sailboat. By shifting the angles, and utilizing an off center custom lamp shade, the illusion of motion is created.  The switch is an industrial push button controller that is placed in the negative space under the chrome mast. I made a pair of lamps that serve as a mirror image of one another.

This is one of my favorite designs that I have created to date. The architecture and proportion feels just right. I love the asymmetry, simplicity, and movement of Trade Wind!

The Trade Wind lamps represents the finest craftsmanship, heirloom quality, and forward thinking design of custom lamps made in Oklahoma City. No paint, stain, or dye was used in the creation of this piece. A clear coat finish was applied to preserve the natural wood tones and textures.
