Materials & Techniques: Sapele, Purple Heart, Walnut, Mirror Glass.

The Purple Heart Mirror is a solid wood frame consisting of sapele, purple heart, and walnut. The mirror itself is very high quality with a 1" beveled edge. The linear colors and the profiled patterns on the wood allow this mirror to compliment either a traditional or a contemporary setting.   It can be mounted in either a portrait or landscape view.  The mirror and frame weigh approximately 30lbs.  I created two Purple Heart Mirrors in 2011. 

The Purple Heart Mirror represents the finest craftsmanship, heirloom quality, and forward thinking design of custom mirror frames made in Oklahoma City. No paint, stain, or dye was used in the creation of this piece. A clear coat finish was applied to preserve the natural wood tones and textures.
