Megli House (2020)

Materials & Techniques: Rift Sawn White Oak & American made Maple Veneer Core Plywood. 

This custom kitchen was designed by the homeowner. I brought their design to reality. The cabinets feature a rift sawn white oak exterior with a cabinet grade maple plywood interior. The exterior uses slab doors and drawer faces with grain matching across the cabinet faces. The doors and drawer faces were inset inside of a solid rift sawn white face frame. The project included a small game cabinet with overhead floating shelves and a window seat surround.

The cabinets were finished with a clear coat inside and out to preserve the natural wood tones.

This project represents a sample of the finest custom cabinets made in Oklahoma City.
