Bill Hawk Art Glass Frame (2015)

Materials & Techniques: Red Oak, Peruvian Walnut, & Glass.

The Bill Hawk Art Glass Frame was commissioned by local Oklahoma City artist, Bill Hawk, to house a piece of his cast glass art. The glass is securely held in the frame and can be illuminated through LED lighting which has been incorporated into the frame structure.

The frame was a challenging and fun collaboration!

No paint, stain, or dye was used in the creation of this piece. A clear coat finish was applied to preserve the natural wood tones and textures.
